Hi- does the air conditioning in the rooms function well? We’re looking to book a room today but it’s very hot and want to make sure it’s comfortable.

Hi. Yes! All our room have Air Conditioning. There's also double glazed windows and good isolation. The rooms are very fresh. Or you can relax in the garden on one of the hammocks :).

Is the hotel close to public transportation?

Yes, we have the metro really close by with great access to the airport and also to other areas of Porto.

my concern is elevators ……

While we do not have elevator, two of our rooms are on ground level: "Double Room" and "King Room with garden view". The Superior Double Rooms is on the first floor reachable through a beautiful staircase, The King Suite is on the second floor.

Please can you share the name of the metro station near the property and how I get from the airport to this metro on my day of arrival. Thanks Michelle

Hello Michelle! The closest is Bolhao Metro station. You get there directly from the airport, or one swap at Trindade Metro station. The metro station is parallel to Arrivals. Take the stairs, go down, and cross. With warmest regards, Casa Kala Team

Hi, We arrive early in the morning, can we drop off our suitcases, go touring and return later in the day to check in?

Yes sure, absolutely. As long as we know upfront that our guests arrive early, before usual check-in time at 15:00, it is possible to drop the luggage during the day of your arrival.

Hello. Yes, all our rooms have modern private bathrooms with shower. All our rooms have AC, heating, double glazing, comfortable double beds, USB ports. Breakfast is included. Parking subject to availability and previous reservation.

There are no elevators. Our King Room with garden view and the Double Room are in the ground floor. There is a path to access from the street to the house and then a few steps to access the rooms. The other rooms are on first floor with staircase.

Beautiful walled-in garden estate in the heart of a vibrant part of Porto. The rooms are beautifully renovated and restored to show the grandeur of this property. Breakfast is excellent, especially with a view of the gardens!

Quiet, upscale, comfortable.
Lovely room and property, staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, location far enough away from the city center to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to most things. Absolutely great place!

Immaculately renovated house, perfect base to explore Porto and surroundings
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully renovated to a very high standard lovely spacious bedrooms with high quality finishes. This was an excellent base to discover Porto and surroundings and the staff and breakfast was amazing.
